Helen homed her first dog in 2002. In 2004 she joined Broxburn DTC and started agility and obedience training. In 2009 Helen passed the Agility Regulations course to become a qualified judge, and has undertaken several judging appointments. |
Helen has two dogs:
Einstein, or Einie for short, was born in September 2002 at the SSPCA Balerno rehoming centre. She is a Collie-Lurcher crossbreed. In May 2004 she had her first obedience show and eventually winning out of both pre-beginners and beginners. Einstein was in the Scottish Inter-Region obedience team for Crufts in 2006, before being retired from obedience in 2008 to concentrate on agility. In August 2004 she had her first agility show, and won out of Elementary. She has progressed through the Grades and now runs at Advanced and Championship level. She achieved her Gold Agility Warrant in April 2009. In November 2010 she had her first Flyball show, and has achieved the required points for her Flyball Dog Award. Einstein has passed her Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen Award.

Ice was born in November 2005. He is a Border Collie with the KC Name Wildfell Brown Owl. In March 2007 he had his first obedience show and achieved several places in Novice, and one place in Test A. Ice was retired from obedience in 2008 to concentrate on agility and flyball. In May 2007 he had his first agility show. He has progressed through the Grades and now runs at Senior level, and has one win towards Advanced level. He achieved his Gold Agility Warrant in June 2012. In August 2008 Ice qualified for the Crufts flyball finals, and at both Crufts 2009 and 2012 was part of the winning flyball team. He has been to Crufts four times to compete in the flyball. In September 2010 he had his first BFA show, and has achieved the required points for his Intermediate Flyball Dog Award. Ice has passed his Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Award. |
